This presentation will include a short except from the documentary film “A Quiet Genocide" followed by a discussion focusing on the universality of human rights.

Baha?'i?s have been persecuted in various countries, but especially in Iran, where the Baha?'i? Faith originated and where there is one of the largest Baha?'i? populations in the world. The United Nations, Amnesty International, the European Union, and the United States have stated that the members of the Baha?'i? community in Iran have been subjected to unwarranted arrests, false imprisonment, beatings, torture, unjustified executions, confiscation and destruction of property, and denial of employment, government benefits, civil rights, and access to higher education.
